“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
[Proverbs 22:6]
The Mavis Scarlett Foundation Inc. is dedicated to assisting economically disadvantaged students with financial and educational resources
to afford a quality education.

Ms. Mavis Scarlett
Proud Jamaican. Mother. Inspiration.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
The foundation was created in honor of Mavis Scarlett, who worked at the Queens High School in St. Andrew, Jamaica, for over 35 years. Mavis Scarlett was a hard-working mother and grandmother who raised her children and grandchildren on the fundamental belief that a solid education would be the key to their personal and professional advancement.
The foundation was established under the principle of coaching and guiding children positively with educational support to become productive adult citizens. Each year the board awards selected students with the financial backing to afford their tuition/school fees, books, and other school essentials for the calendar school year.

Our mission is to assist economically disadvantaged students with the financial and non-financial resources for a quality education.

Our vision is to make quality education affordable and available to all children in Jamaica.

WHY DONATE

Help Children
Attend School
Most children in poverty stressed areas can’t afford breakfast and transportation to school.

School Uniforms,
Supplies, and Fees
Many children have only one pair of uniforms (or none at all), can’t afford books, and are unable to pay their school fees to attend school to attain their basic education.

Break the
